Croatian citizens residing in a foreign country can only participate in the public offering to purchase T-HT shares under preferential conditions with the help of a proxy in Croatia. After finding such a person, they need to draft a power of attorney and have it notarized at the Croatian embassy or consulate
In addition, they must send their proxy the original documents or certified copies of documents proving Croatian citizenship that contain the JMBG and a photograph. If the power of attorney does not specify that any excess funds should be deposited into the proxy’s current account, then the Croatian citizen must also send a certified copy of the current account card opened at any bank in Croatia to the proxy. If this is addressed in the power of attorney, then the proxy must present their current account card when submitting the offer. Additionally, the proxy will also need to prove their identity.
