After a party full of dancing, socializing among the Croatian ICT elite, and laser light effects late Wednesday night, the fifth IBM Forum commenced on Thursday morning.
– The IBM Forum this year celebrates a small anniversary – its fifth birthday – stated Ivan Vidaković, General Director of IBM Croatia, at the ceremonial opening, adding:
– I am extremely proud that we have gathered again in Umag to discuss the latest technological and business achievements, the ever-accelerating local and global changes, and to exchange knowledge and experiences – said Vidaković at the ceremonial opening of the general forum, emphasizing transformation as the main theme of this year’s gathering of business and IT professionals in Umag. The motto of this year’s forum is "What makes you special? People. Technology. Processes." After that, the round table "Transformation of the Business System – A Prerequisite or a Consequence for the Implementation of ICT Solutions?" (Igor Škevin) began.
