Privredna banka Zagreb (PBZ) is introducing a new service for citizens, “PBZInvestor”, starting Saturday, September 22, which allows trading in securities on the Zagreb Stock Exchange via the Internet, PBZ announced today.
The PBZInvestor service can be contracted by domestic individuals at any PBZ branch and is primarily intended for those who have experience and sufficient knowledge to make independent decisions regarding the purchase or sale of shares, and who are aware of the risks of investing in securities. After contracting the service at the branch, a PBZInvestor cash account is opened for the client, where they hold money for transactions, as well as a PBZInvestor securities account. When logging into the application, the client uses a chip card and a card reader (if they do not have a PBZ current account, a new one is opened for them, and a PBZ Maestro chip card and reader are issued), ensuring the highest level of security, PBZ emphasizes.
At the same time, when placing an order, the client has access to all relevant information such as the movement of stock prices on the exchange at that moment, market depth, etc. Numerous controls are also built in to ensure that the submitted order contains all necessary elements, as well as controls for exceeding daily limits, etc. The fee for this service is 0.6 percent, or a minimum of 75 kuna per transaction, and when contracting, the client pays a one-time fee of 75 kuna for opening the service, as well as a monthly membership fee of 10 kuna.
