The Intereuropa Group today opened a new logistics center in Samobor. The value of this investment, which includes infrastructure and a warehouse with office space, amounts to 11.4 million euros.
– The new logistics center in Samobor, with nearly 44 thousand square meters, is equipped with the most modern handling and IT tracking means, which will facilitate the control of a larger volume of goods flows and complete the comprehensive range of logistics services in Croatia and Southeast Europe – said Andrija Jurgec, CEO of Intereuropa – logistics services Zagreb. As stated at the opening, Croatia is of strategic importance to this Group as a logistics link with neighboring countries and the region.
– By 2011, we plan further investments in the Croatian market, which will enable the opening of new jobs and strengthen the Group’s position in Southeast Europe, with a vision to become the leading provider of logistics services in the Southeast European area – said Andrej Lovšin, CEO of Intereuropa Koper. The ceremonial opening was attended by political and business dignitaries from Croatia, Slovenia, and other countries where Intereuropa has its affiliated companies. (Edis Felić)
