The new management of Đuro Đaković Montaža from Slavonski Brod has presented significant projects in the domestic and international markets that will employ its capacities in the upcoming period, including participation in the construction project of the Pelješac Bridge, which has been entrusted to a domestic consortium, and Montaža will be working on the steel structure.
Montaža is a subcontractor in this project, which is valued at approximately 1.9 billion kuna. Since the steel part of the bridge accounts for half, around one billion kuna, this is a huge job for us, said the CEO of Montaža, Vlatko Blekić, at a press conference, adding that he expects the contract to be signed in the coming days or weeks. Among other larger projects in the domestic market, he announced participation in the renovation of refineries in Rijeka and Sisak, as well as the continuation of cooperation with HEP and Ina. The permanent orientation towards the international market, where they generate 60 percent of their revenue, was commented on by board member Stjepan Sverić, announcing more jobs – the start of the overhaul of the Krško Nuclear Power Plant at the beginning of October, and the opening of a branch in Finland, where they will work on a nuclear power plant.
