The Largest Manufacturer of Fire Extinguishers in the Region

– Last year, we produced 200 thousand fire extinguishers, confirming the Fire Extinguisher Factory Pastor as the largest manufacturer of fire extinguishers in the region and the only one with European certificates for all its products – said CEO Domagoj Ivan Milošević.

Pastor Group presented its complete production and sales program today at the largest professional regional fair Interprotex, held as part of the Autumn International Zagreb Fair, marking the day of its group. CEO Domagoj Ivan Milošević presented the total revenue of all 14 companies in the Group, which will exceed 30 million euros this year, with significant annual growth. – Last year, we produced 200 thousand fire extinguishers, confirming the Fire Extinguisher Factory Pastor as the largest manufacturer of fire extinguishers in the region and the only one with European certificates for all its products – said Milošević.

Pastor Engineering, the Group’s latest acquisition, has designed and implemented over 2,700 fire protection systems in 21 countries across four continents, with a special sector focusing on fire protection in shipbuilding. – We continue to develop domestic production, but we are increasingly turning to exports. We want the name, products, and services of Pastor Group to be recognized as a sign of high quality and success of the Croatian economy – said Milošević, adding that there are problems in the market with unfair competition, especially from China, which has state subsidies and cheaper labor, but also much lower quality products. Half of the Group’s products are exported to the European market, while the other is represented in the regional market, with a particular emphasis on the importance of Serbia.

Milošević also took the opportunity to criticize those who seek to limit investments of Serbian capital in Croatia and vice versa, emphasizing that this can only harm the Croatian economy. – Today, almost every second larger Croatian company operates in Serbia, so business should not be given other connotations – said Milošević. When asked by Lider about the expected market growth in Serbia, Milošević reminded that they have been operating there since 2003 and that in 2005 they achieved revenue of 500 thousand euros, and this year they expect it to be five million euros.

– In the future, we expect market growth in Serbia of several tens of percent – said Milošević, expressing satisfaction with business results and announcing further expansion in the region and Western Europe. In this context, he highlighted the lack of personnel as a problem, which is a consequence of the company’s rapid growth. During the day at Jarun, new products of Pastor Group were presented: a high-capacity fire extinguishing pump, available and capable of drawing water from the sea, rivers, and lakes, as well as the multifunctional unmanned aerial vehicle FENIX-X for monitoring fire sites. Prompted by recent tragic events on the island of Kornat, Pastor Group has initiated the establishment of its foundation, which will allocate funds for firefighter education and disaster prevention.
