On September 1, Špiro Vučičić, a food technologist with experience and numerous professional and managerial references in Croatia and abroad, joined Atlantic Group as the director of Montana plus d.o.o.
Montana plus is the only Croatian producer of pre-packaged sandwiches with extended freshness and the only Croatian member of the European Sandwich Association. Špiro Vučičić comes to the position of director of Montana from the French company Lesaffre (Far East) Limited, the world’s largest producer of yeast and baking ingredients, where he worked as Regional Marketing Director in Hong Kong since May 2006, responsible for the markets of China, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Previously, he worked at Lesaffre as the market director for the Philippines and Vietnam. From 2001 to 2004, he was the marketing and sales director at Kvasac d.o.o. in Zagreb, and prior to that, he was the production director at Pliva in Trebišov, in the then Slovak Pliva yeast factory. Špiro Vučičić’s extensive experience in production and marketing in the food industry will be invaluable for the further development and growth of Montana plus. Špiro Vučičić graduated from the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology in Zagreb, and he specialized in marketing at the prestigious French INSEAD Fontainebleau.
