Since September of this year, OMV Gas GmbH has been offering its customers an online service that is unique in Europe and allows for quick and easy use of storage capacity.
Thanks to the ‘Click & Store’ service, users can produce the desired quantities online in just a few hours. The entire contract is concluded online in the shortest possible time. Therefore, quick changes in the injection or withdrawal of gas are possible at any time and meet the individual needs of users, the statement says. OMV Gas is the first gas storage service provider in the European market to offer its customers the possibility of concluding contracts online in a short time. With just a few mouse clicks, a legally binding contract can be concluded.
While it previously took approximately five days to initiate the service, today it has been reduced to just five hours thanks to the "Click & Store" service, which is available 24 hours a day. This initiative is an upgrade of the online tool for booking gas quantities, the „Online Capacity Booking” (OCB) introduced last autumn. OCB allows OMV’s customers to submit inquiries related to the transport and storage of natural gas online, as well as to select the product, storage period, and its quantity.
