For the purchase of three companies separated from the Croatian Railways (HŽ) system, not a single bid was received today by the Croatian Privatization Fund (HFP) by the deadline, although bidding documentation was purchased for the companies PZZ Inženjering and Pružne građevine.
In the second attempt to sell the 100% stake in the construction and design company PZZ Inženjering, the bidding documentation was purchased by Zagreb’s Profectus, while in the first attempt at privatization of the 74% stake in the company for the production and assembly of steel structures Pružne građevine, the bidding documentation was purchased by the company Sitolor from Slavonski Brod.
However, no bids were submitted for these two companies, nor for the company Željezničko ugostiteljstvo, which was also offered for the second time. The HFP announced tenders for these three companies at the end of July this year, and along with them, a public call for collecting bids for the purchase of a 74% stake in another company separated from the HŽ system, Proizvodnja-regeneracija, was also published. Although the deadline for submitting bids for that company was also September 3 at the time of the tender announcement, the deadline was extended last week to October 1, and the HFP explained today that the postponement occurred at the request of potential investors. The first tenders for the sale of companies separated from the HŽ system were published in early April this year, and interest was only expressed for the company RVR Uslužne djelatnosti d.o.o., for which employees of the company submitted a bid.
