By signing the Agreement on Business Cooperation, the Croatian Agency for Small Entrepreneurship (HAMAG), Infinitas Group, and the Croatian Postal Bank (HPB) have committed to launching a project for the specialized education of IT professionals, which will encourage them to transform the acquired knowledge and skills into entrepreneurial projects after completion.
Infinitas Group will provide specialized training programs, HPB will offer favorable loans for tuition payment to interested parties, and HAMAG will provide free additional education for entrepreneurial programs after the course completion. Interested individuals can be educated for one of three internationally recognized Microsoft certifications. Denis Jašarević, director of Infinitas Group, emphasized that according to some projections, more than 8,000 jobs will be created in the IT sector in the country over the next four years:
– “We have tailored the program to all levels of IT knowledge, and according to our findings, possessing such certifications guarantees employment, as every person in Croatia who holds such a certificate is employed,” said Jašarević. The program, which lasts from 250 to 300 school hours, will cost around 15,000 kuna, depending on the certification for which the participant is being educated. Participants can finance their tuition with a dedicated loan from HPB in the amount of five to 20 thousand kuna, with a repayment period of up to two years at an annual interest rate of 6.98 percent.
