In the first six months, according to preliminary and unaudited financial data, PBZ Group achieved a net profit of 640 million kuna, which is 25.3 percent higher than in the same period last year, PBZ announced.
PBZ Group’s profit before tax in the first half of the year amounts to 788 million kuna, marking an increase of 25.7 percent compared to the same period last year. The total assets of PBZ Group amount to 64 billion kuna, which is an increase of 3.2 percent compared to the end of 2006.
As stated in the announcement, the profit of Privredna banka Zagreb before tax amounts to 753 million kuna, which is an increase of 48.9 percent compared to the same period last year, while the net profit amounted to 629 million kuna, which is 212 million, or 50.8 percent higher than in the first half of last year. All banks and companies that are members of PBZ Group, fully or majority-owned by Privredna banka Zagreb, also achieved successful financial results in the first half of the year, PBZ emphasizes.
Thus, Međimurska banka achieved a net profit of 25 million kuna, net profit of PBZ Card amounts to 81.5 million kuna, PBZ Invest 20 million kuna, PBZ Nekretnina 15 million kuna, PBZ Leasing 5 million kuna, and PBZ Stambena štedionica 570 thousand kuna. The mandatory pension fund PBZ Croatia osiguranje also operated successfully, with its returns being among the highest in the pension fund market, PBZ states. (Hina)
