Avenue Mall was supposed to open its doors on August 21, the day before the 90th anniversary of the birth of the legendary Zagreb mayor Većeslav Holjevac, but, as announced by the owners of the shopping center, ‘due to additional coordination and alignment of technical documentation’, it will open on Thursday, August 30, at 9 AM.
GTC Group, the majority owner of Avenue Mall, is managing the entire project according to top global standards while simultaneously aligning it with Croatian norms, as stated in the announcement regarding the delay. For all visitors who wish to take a break from shopping and strolling, the Good Food square will offer a rich selection of specially created snacks and drinks in six small restaurants with over 400 seating places.
Mayor Holjevac was, according to insiders, a visionary of his city. He was the first to lead bold urban initiatives, crossed the Sava River, and breathed life into New Zagreb. As a man ahead of his time, we are sure that the beloved Veco would also understand the initiatives of Avenue Mall, the statement reads. In a completely different way, Avenue Mall will enable all citizens to transition from the new to an even better and more modern life.
