The company Belišće achieved a net profit of 23.49 million kuna in the first six months of this year, which is as much as 354.8 percent higher than the 5.17 million kuna profit in the first half of last year, according to the business report of Belišće published on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
Total revenues of Belišće in the first six months amounted to 647.62 million kuna, which is 6.28 percent higher than in the first six months of last year. Revenues from domestic sales amounted to 325.96 million kuna and were 5.68 percent higher than last year’s, while revenues from foreign sales increased by 14.33 percent, to 263.14 million kuna.
Total expenses of Belišće grew slower than total revenues, increasing by 3.16 percent, to 621.9 million kuna. Belišće d.d. produces packaging paper, cardboard, spiral and plastic packaging, wooden elements, charcoal, electrical equipment, and other products, distributing them to more than 20 countries in Europe and the world.
