Adris Group recorded a 6.6 percent increase in sales revenue in the first six months of this year, with total Group revenues amounting to 1.46 billion kuna during the specified period, as stated in the financial report to the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
The operating profit achieved by Adris for the first six months is 271.9 million kuna, and the profit before tax amounts to 360.2 million kuna, which is 7.3 percent higher than last year, it was announced on Monday from Adris. The financial report to the Zagreb Stock Exchange indicates that revenues were primarily generated from the tobacco processing sector, with a smaller portion from the tourism sector. The tourism segment of the business recorded a 12.6 percent increase in guest overnight stays compared to the first half of 2006. The cigarette segment achieved a three percent increase in volume sales, recording growth in both key markets and key brands. (D. R.)
