In the Croatian Adriatic, 217 round trips of foreign ships – cruise ships were realized in the first half of this year, which is 14 percent more than in the same period last year.
According to data from the State Bureau of Statistics, there were 218.4 thousand passengers on these ships, or 19.5 percent more. These passengers stayed in Croatia for 371 days this year, which is almost 40 percent more days than in the last six months. On average, they stayed in Croatia for 1.7 days. Of the total semi-annual arrivals of foreign cruise ships to the Adriatic, the most, 44.7 percent or 97, arrived in June. At that time, the highest number of passengers also arrived – 50.3 percent of the total passengers or 110 thousand.
