Croatia osiguranje firmly holds the top position in Croatia and the region, with a total premium written of 2.9 billion kuna in 2006, which is an increase of 4.5% compared to 2005, and a net profit of 105.1 million kuna, representing a 7% increase compared to 2005.
Growth in revenue, growth in the region, growth in market share, and growth in efficiency are imperatives for the operations of Croatia osiguranje for the next year, emphasized Hrvoje Vojković, CEO of Croatia osiguranje, during the presentation of business results for 2006 and plans for 2007.
Last year, there was also a steady growth in the shares of Croatia osiguranje, which are listed on the first quotation of the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
From 6200 kuna at the beginning of the year, the share price rose to 10,850 kuna, which is proof of the great trust investors have in the company. Last year, the new product Invest premium, a life insurance policy with investment in mutual funds, marked a step forward in the financial sector, and Hrvoje Vojković emphasized that, thanks to its experts, Croatia osiguranje develops all products with its own strengths and that the business indicators in the first two months of this year are also encouraging.
