Last year’s loss of 24.17 million kuna

The trading company Elektropromet recorded a loss of 24.17 million kuna last year, which is a reduction in loss compared to the previous year when it amounted to 52.25 million kuna, according to the financial report of the company published by the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

Total revenues of Elektropromet last year amounted to 485.8 million kuna, an increase of 10.4 percent compared to the previous year. Operating revenues in the observed period decreased by 10.3 percent, to 475.7 million kuna. A decline was recorded in domestic sales revenues, from 514.86 million kuna to 474.29 million kuna. Conversely, revenues from sales abroad increased from 36 thousand kuna to 276 thousand kuna.

As stated in the explanation of business results, 65 percent of total operating revenues come from wholesale, 22 percent from retail, and 13 percent from engineering. Total expenses of Elektropromet in 2006 amounted to 510.01 million kuna, which is a decrease of 14.2 percent compared to 2005. Material costs and costs of goods sold decreased from 515.49 million kuna to 449.1 million kuna, while personnel costs increased from 27.8 million kuna to 29.1 million kuna. Depreciation costs also increased, from 3.3 million kuna to 4.5 million kuna.
