A new open investment fund with a public offering, AC Russia, is operating in the domestic market, which will be oriented towards investments in securities primarily in the markets of Russia and the former USSR states as well as CEFTA. This is the first investment fund in Croatia that will focus on investments in the Russian market.
The fund is managed by Adriatica Capital, owned by Adriatica Consulting, which was founded by employees and fund management of Mustique Capital Holding from Luxembourg. This is the first investment fund in Croatia that will focus on investments in the Russian market. Domestic funds predominantly invest in the Croatian market or in the region that yields good returns.
However, the Russian capital market, as well as that of the CIS countries, is experiencing steady growth, it was stated at the fund’s presentation, with the local stock index having risen by 83 percent in 2005, and last year, as of November 17, by 51 percent. – We will allocate fifty percent to liquid securities, and the rest to market potential – said the CEO of the Company, Vjeran Filippi.
Entry fees for the fund range up to three percent, depending on the value of the purchased share in the fund, and are not charged if the value of the share exceeds 750,000 kuna. The exit fee in the first year is one percent, and for investments longer than one year, half a percent. (Lidija Kiseljak)
