Representatives of the Croatian Ministry of Finance and the General Directorate of Public Accounting of the French Republic signed a Technical Partnership Agreement in Paris, the Ministry of Finance reported.
The statement notes that the General Directorate of Public Accounting of France and the Croatian State Treasury began a series of bilateral contacts in 2004 aimed at establishing and promoting the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the field of public finances. The process of accession to the European Union has significantly increased the importance of this cooperation, as it requires the identification of needs and the facilitation of improvements in financial, budgetary, and accounting processes that will ensure optimal integration of the legal acquis in the finance sector. The aim of this agreement is mutual exchange of experiences, as well as a rough determination of the topics to be addressed during the exchanges and the methods of their implementation, the Ministry of Finance’s statement said.
