Croatian Stand Received Numerous Praises

The stand of the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK), showcasing products under the slogan Be Croative, which carry the labels Original Croatian and Croatian Quality on the second day of the fair, left a different impression on visitors, and one of the most frequently asked questions by visitors was: ‘Why can’t we buy some of these products at the stand?’

More than 150,000 people are expected to visit the C-B-R fair in Munich, where Croatia is the partner country this year. Visitors to the Croatian exhibition space were also confused that the HGK stand was separate from the stand of the Croatian Tourist Board, prompting them to seek additional explanations, which the organizers were actually pleased with, as their goal was to present the products not only as part of the tourist offer but also as an export potential.

– It is simple to answer the question of why the stands are separate. The Croatian Tourist Board represents the country and promotes the arrival of tourists to Croatia. Through the separate exhibition, we convey that Croatian products can be purchased and tasted not only in Croatia but also in their homes – says Sonja Nušinović, spokesperson for the Croatian Chamber of Economy.

The design of the HGK stand received numerous praises, and one visitor described it as a product for the 22nd century. While most products are presented via plasma screens and catalogs, 35 products are physically displayed in showcases.
The Be Croative exhibition will move to Lisbon after Munich.  (Dragana Radusinović)
