The Assets of HPB Global Fund Increased Thirtyfold in One Year

The total assets of open investment funds managed by HPB Invest exceeded half a billion kuna in February this year, now amounting to 600 million kuna. The largest increase in assets was achieved by the HPB Global Fund, whose assets, in just over a year of operation, increased from 10 million kuna to 301 million kuna, or thirty times.

HPB Invest started operating a year and four months ago with four investment funds: Bond, Global, Equity, and Money. During 2006, two new funds were established: HPB Alpha Fund, an open investment fund with a private offering, and HPB Dynamic, a balanced investment fund. The highest asset growth was recorded by the HPB Global Fund, a balanced fund intended for long-term investors with a moderate risk appetite, while the total assets of the other funds are: HPB Equity Fund 102.7 million kuna, HPB Alpha Fund 16.2 million kuna, Money Fund 87.7 million kuna, and Bond Fund 46 million kuna. The youngest fund of HPB Invest – HPB Dynamic increased its assets by 68 million kuna within six months of its establishment.
