The Danish manufacturer of insulation materials, Rockwool, has announced a new investment in Poland. Although the company already owns factories in Cigacice and Małkinia, a new facility for the production of insulation materials for construction is set to be built in the Suwałki special economic zone. Rockwool will invest 65 million euros in this facility, which will create 70 new jobs.
Although the Danish investor considered other countries as locations for its investment, it ultimately chose Poland. This decision is supported by generous state aid for foreign companies investing in new production, as well as the growth of construction activities in Poland, which provides a solid base for the sale of all types of construction materials, writes Bankamagazine.
