The company Limex from Donji Miholjac took over 10 new trucks from Euroline from Zagreb on Thursday, thereby expanding its road fleet to a total of 25 trucks. These are completely new Mercedes trailer trucks.
After familiarizing with the driving and transport characteristics of the vehicles and the driver training organized by Euroline, at a ceremonial event, the keys to the trucks were handed over by Dražen Vulama, the sales manager, to Marko Šelej, the son of the owner and general director of Limex, Josip Šelej. – Limex exports its goods to 32 countries, and a large part of the goods is transported by road. So far, we have covered about 2.7 million km annually with existing vehicles, and as we expect significant obligations in the upcoming period, as production is expanding, I expect the number of kilometers to exceed 4.5 million. That is precisely why we decided on this significant investment exceeding 10 million kuna. In just a few days, all trucks will be registered and will soon be on the roads across Europe – said Dejan Budimlija, head of the transport department at Limex, during the handover of the new vehicles.
