Revenue Growth of 27.6 Percent

According to a preliminary, unaudited report, Magma achieved a sales revenue of 638 million kuna in 2006, which is 27.6 percent higher than the previous year, the company announced.

    Profit increased by approximately 85 percent compared to the previous year. Profit before tax amounts to 42.72 million kuna (in 2005, it was 23.22 million kuna), and net profit is expected to be around 34.8 million kuna (in 2005, it was 18.7 million kuna). Retail continues to hold the largest share in the revenue structure. Retail sales revenue amounted to 541 million kuna, marking a 29.5 percent increase compared to the previous year.

In 2006, Magma also intensified its expansion into foreign markets, particularly in neighboring countries. Exports doubled compared to 2005, generating revenue of 50.16 million kuna. At the end of 2006, Magma had 1,233 employees, which is 20.6 percent more than in 2005.
