In accordance with the new regulation on end-of-life vehicles, the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund has commenced activities related to the management of end-of-life vehicles as of January 29. We provide a list of all addresses where vehicles can be deposited.
Contracts have been concluded with the companies C.I.O.S. and CE-ZA-R, as well as Sirovina landfill, which will temporarily carry out the activities of collection, storage, and processing of end-of-life vehicles until the issuance of the prescribed concessions based on the public tender published by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Spatial Planning, and Construction. It has been announced that their temporary operation will last at most until May of this year.

Citizens who personally deliver an end-of-life vehicle to the temporary storage of the collector receive compensation of 0.40 kuna per kilogram, while if the vehicle owner calls the collector to pick up the vehicle, the compensation amounts to 0.10 kuna per kilogram.
The end-of-life vehicle must contain all components, especially the engine and body, wheels, tires, batteries, and accumulators, and if the vehicle does not contain these components, the owner is not entitled to compensation.
The Fund will soon, in cooperation with local government units, organize an action to collect end-of-life vehicles that have been discarded by unknown persons in the environment, and it is estimated that the organized system will annually collect and process between 70,000 and 80,000 end-of-life vehicles.
